Eating Disorder Therapy
We provide individual therapy for adults and late adolescents who have past or present challenges relating to food and body image. Often these challenges are connected to and accompanied by anxiety, depression, interpersonal struggles, and/or trauma symptoms that we will also explore and address in therapy. We teach our clients skills from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Clients are typically seen weekly, but the frequency can be adjusted as appropriate. Loved ones are welcome to join sessions when it is helpful to the client.
Cognitive Processing Therapy
We provide Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), a cognitive-behavioral approach to treating the symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). This evidence-based treatment consists of 12 sessions that support individuals in exploring how thoughts, feelings and behaviors are connected and how identifying alternative thoughts can help to free them from the symptoms of trauma. To learn more about CPT, please visit CPT for PTSD.
